The Social and Disability Services of Université Sorbonne Paris Nord can offer the following :
• Welcome students with disability and inform them about the possibilities offered by the university so that they can pursue their studies in the best conditions
• Provide students with disability with the assistance they need with registration and administrative procedures
• Act on the behalf of students in cooperation with student services and teachers in order to optimize study conditions on an individual basis
• Provide students with disability with the information they need to obtain particular financial and medical aid
Upon request and with the required supporting documents, the university library can loan books to students with disability for longer periods of time. A HANDIDOC room located on the second floor of the Arts and Law Library on the Villetaneuse campus has been designed to accommodate the needs of students with disability.
Specific staff (two assistants, one of which is trained to assist the sight impaired) can provide individual assistance, particularly with the use of the special equipment available.
