There is a returns box you can use to return books outside of opening hours for loans from the Arts and Law Library and Science Library.

Where is the returns box?

At the Villetaneuse Campus, below Le Forum, to the left of the entrance of the Arts and Law Library.

A delay in the return of any works borrowed will give rise to a penalty of a period of time equivalent to the period of the delay. You will not be able to borrow any more books until the late books have been returned.

Loss of a book

Quickly contact (in order to avoid being suspended) the loan service, which will give you the information you need to purchase a replacement.

Requesting a settlement certificate

The settlement certificate is a document attesting that your account with the library is fully settled. It is required by Student Services to renew any registration and to release your degree.

You can access your reader account from the library catalog by confirming your ID.

It enables you to:

• consult your list of borrowed books
• extend the loan duration of your items

First- and second-year undergraduates (L1, L2) can extend the loan duration of their items for two weeks. First- and second-year Master’s students (M1, M2), PhD students and teaching researchers can extend their loans for one week.

Do not lend anyone your card: you risk penalties for works borrowed by others.

> How to reserve a book in the catalog?

The interlibrary loan service can order items (book, periodical, dissertation) from other libraries.
This service is available to readers registered with the library and teaching researchers. It is available for a fee (see prices below).
