What is a company training scheme ?

This is a combine study and on-the-job training scheme that involves a period of work in a company and a period of study in a training organization. Those who pursue such a scheme obtain professional qualifications and improve their chances of entry or re-entry into employment.

Who can benefit ?

You can be employed by a company under a company training scheme if :
• you are between 16 and 25 years of age
• you are over 26 years old and are seeking employment
• you are receiving the minimum social benefits
• you are eligible for a Contrat unique d’insertion (special employment contract for the disadvantaged)

What type of employment contract will I have ?

• Either a permanent contract that provides for on-the-job training at the beginning of employment for a period of six to 12 months
• Or a fixed-term contract of between six and 12 months.

Please note: This period limited to 12 months can be extended to 24 months for certain individuals or qualifications.

For what remuneration ?

The remuneration will vary depending on the age and the level of your qualifications. It is calculated on the basis of the standard minimum income or, by default, the minimum wage. Calculate remuneration

Who funds the training ?

Evaluation, support and tuition fees are covered by the OPCA (an agency that collects funds for continuing professional development) to which your employer pays contributions.

What term training ?

Training must represent 15% (150 hours minimum ) at 25 % of the total duration of the professionalization of action planned for CDI or CDD .

• A fixed amount of financial aid paid by the Pôle Emploi for the hiring of an indemnified job seeker aged 26 or over
• Financial aid for contracts concluded with a job seeker aged 45 or over
• Non-inclusion in the company’s staff (except for records pertaining to the risk of occupational accidents and occupational illness)
• The possibility of giving the employee preparatory training covered by the Pôle Emploi before beginning the company training scheme.
• The possibility of training the new employee in the techniques and methods of the company
