  • What is Accreditation of Prior Learning?

    Accreditation of Prior Experience enables you to pursue your university studies without the need for the certificate or degree that would ordinarily be a pre-requirement for registration. In this way, it is possible to pursue a Master’s degree without having a Licence.

    Eligibility

    Anyone over the age of 20 who has interrupted their initial training for at least two years.

    5. The admissions board will evaluate the application and decide whether to approve the candidate’s registration as a student.

    Funding

    There is no funding available for Accreditation of Prior Learning but at the end of the process, Leave for Professional Development can be organized and the APL training integrated as part of it.

  • What is Accreditation of Prior Experience?

    Accreditation of Prior Experience enables you to obtain all or part of a degree without taking the course required for it. Please note that the law recognizes the right to certify your prior experience so that you can receive a degree, and not an automatic right to the award of a degree.

    Eligibility

    Anyone who can prove that they have at least three years of professional and/or personal experience in total, with or without interruptions, directly related to the content of the certificate or degree desired.

    • Reinforce and secure your employability

    Degree certificate

    All the degrees available at Paris University 13 can be pursued within an Accreditation of Prior Learning scheme.

    Funding

    Funding that can be used for the Accreditation of Prior Experience: Leave for Accreditation of Prior Experience, the Chéquier VAE, the Personal Training Account (CPF).

    After the board deliberates, there are three possible outcomes.

    • Complete approval: you will be awarded the degree in full.
    • Partial approval: you will be given a partial award of the degree. The board will stipulate the additional requirements for the award of the degree in full.
